01The order

Blank items
Use a separate row for each style, color and size combination. Description and color are optional. Blank cost excludes printing. Default values are editable examples. Enter your supplier’s actual costs for each style, color and size.
Budgets for extra shirts and transfers in case of damage or misprints, including pressing labor and overhead for those extras. At 5%, a row of 20 shirts adds 1 extra. Extras round up separately for every blank row, so a row of 4 also adds 1 extra. Enter 0% to exclude extras.
Cost of bags, labels or other packaging for each shirt delivered to the customer. At $0.25 each, 20 delivered shirts add $5 in packaging costs. Enter $0 if you do not use packaging.

02DTF transfers

Sleeves, neck labels, names or numbers. Enter the combined cost.

Sample costs are starting points. For in-house printing, include film, ink, powder and maintenance in your rate. Include any printer operator cost in the rate; pressing labor is entered below.

03Pressing & overhead

Shipping or other fixed order expenses.

How the math works

Delivery quantity is the sum of your size rows. Production quantity includes the rounded-up allowance for each blank item. Blank costs use each item’s own price. Cost includes produced blanks, transfers, labor and overhead, plus packaging on delivered shirts and fixed order costs. Pressing labor is a flat cost per produced shirt covering front and back together. Subtotal = cost ÷ (1 − margin − payment fee), subject to minimum and upward unit-price rounding. Profit = subtotal − production cost − payment fees. Sales tax is excluded. All sizes share the recommended selling price; their different costs are included in the order total.
